Activator Method

What is Activator Technique?

Activator Technique is a diagnostic and treatment method used by our chiropractors to treat many types of back pain, neck pain and headaches (both chronic and migraine).

Application of this method is a small, hand-held instrument known as the activator. The activator will deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

How Does it Work?

Following the examination of your spine and joints, the chiropractors are able to identify the misalignment of the joint which we also call it as “subluxation”.

Certified Chiropractors will then use activator on the segment which is misaligned and apply the force on it correcting it to the correct position and therefore regaining back the equilibrium of the nervous system.

Leg Length Difference X Activator

During examination, chiropractors will also perform leg length discrepancy test.  This evaluation is based on the theory that apparent differences in leg length may indicate where vertebral misalignment in the spine are present.

Activator is used to correct those misalignment and minimizing the discrepancy as much as possible.
